Summary:

Working in a steel manufacturing environment with a wide range of operations, this is a hand on job that requires you to be flexible and a team player. You have a responsibility for the completion of daily production goals. Maximizing your skills to meet daily production loads in a cross skilled multi-functional business. Meeting customer objectives within a safe environment is the number one priority.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure all operations and personnel meet all safety requirements and maintain an accident and injury free culture.

Perform daily tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Model the right behavior in terms of compliance and work ethic to create teamwork and mutual respect between shifts.

Build team spirit, pride and camaraderie within team.

Ensure compliance with operator equipment checklists. Work in harmony with maintenance team to ensure maximum equipment up time and operational capability.

Input data timely and accurately.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will come from within the industry and be of a can do attitude' Able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be an ambitious person who enjoys taking on challenges and responsibilities whilst exceeding the required results. With a mind-set of continuous improvement you will be Customer focused, both internal customers and external customers

Highly Desirable

Profile Burning, CNC Exposure, Fork Lift License, Manual Handling, Crane Driving.

Experience:

Ideally with one of experience in CNC machines, profile burning or welding.
