The position(s)
Are you an experienced Production Operative who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? Look no further, we are looking to welcome new recruits into our manufacturing facility; specifically, within the following departments.

Job Summary:
These roles are responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring that orders are achieved in a suitable timeframe, to a high standard, whilst maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
Other responsibilities will include:
To operate plant and machinery within specified zone maintaining targeted output with minimal interruption.
Ensure that the machinery expected performance targets set by the planning teams are achieved
Carry out correct start up and shutdown procedures for specified zone.
Follow set production programmes, understanding the importance of running to plan and association between production schedule and product specifications.
Prioritise responsibilities to ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are at an acceptable standard before other duties, including maintenance, are carried out.
Complete all records and paperwork for specific zone legibly and accurately (e.g. handover books, quality records, maintenance schedules).
Carry out daily autonomous maintenance tasks for the specified zone, competently and correctly.
Follow the correct changeover procedures ensuring minimum time taken between stoppage and running at rated speed.
Comprehensive training for all roles will be given and on successful completion of this you will be issued with a pay increase alongside further opportunity to progress within the company to full operator level.
About you
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable

Working hours, Pay and Holiday Entitlement
These positions will be working on a 12-hour shift rota, covering days and nights on a 24/7 shift basis (Includes weekend and bank holiday working)
The starting salary is 13.60 per hour.
Initially you will receive 240 hours per annum (pro-rata to reflect start date) which increases through service up to a maximum of 288 hours. The holiday year runs from Jan to Dec each year)
