Job Description

LJA Miers & Co Ltd, are a growing manufacturing business supplying parts to the automotive industry. Duties will include



Undertake Production work in accordance with the working procedures and at the optimum rate consistent with Health and Safety, product quality and manufacturing plan requirements.

Operating and maintaining Production machines.

Work with production orders to view customer jobs, due dates and identify priorities.

Reduce non-value added time through the application of preparation and organisation.

Support a continuous improvement culture by contributing ideas and suggestions that will reduce non-value added time and improve efficiencies.

Essential skills



The successful applicant will be working as part of a growing team. You will need good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ensuring high standards are kept at all times with a keen eye for detail.

Previous experience/knowledge of operating Production machinery is essential.

Highly self motivated with the ability to understand priorities and work to tight deadlines.

Conscientious, hardworking with an attention to detail.

Flexible attitude to overtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Work Location: In person
