Wells PM ltd is a busy 24/7 plastic additives and masterbatch manufacturing company based in Stone, Staffordshire. We now require permanent fulltime process operators. Previous experience is an advantage but not a necessity as full training will be given.

As part of a small team all our staff are highly valued with many employees being with us for 10+ years.

Working in a factory environment you will be responsible for recording, weighing and mixing materials, including chemicals for machine processing, then bagging off and stacking finished product on pallets which will involve manual handling.

Shift patterns:

4 on 4 off shift pattern days and nights 6.00/6.10

Duties:

Running plastic processing machines (twin screw extruders)

Booking material on and off

Mixing materials using blenders

Bagging and stacking finished goods

Cleaning down of machines after use

Working on your own initiative and as part of a team

Communicating effectively

Understanding and carrying out basic Health & Safety measures

This is an entry level position: Weekly paid

Level Junior Operator = 15.30 per hour - probation 3 months

Level Senior Operator = 16.83

Note:

Some of the chemicals handled on site are hazardous - however all training and PPE will be provided.

The factory operates loud machines requiring ear protection to be worn at all times

The ideal candidate will need to be physically fit and have reasonable English and maths skills.
