Job Description

Production Operator role based at our Tamworth Site.

The role will be working 34 hours per week.

Shifts include Monday - Thursday 6:00am-13:30pm/13:30pm-21:00pm/Fridays 6am - 12:30pm/12:30pm-7:00pm.

All activities should be driven to improve Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD), this includes non-production tasks. Provide leadership and champion the cause for continuous improvement in exceeding customer expectations.

To support Lean processes inc. 5s and CI activities where necessary. Support and ensure compliance with company policies & approvals, procedures, and any ongoing business initiatives.

To support and contribute effectively to your appraisal and show a positive attitude to training and development within the team. Ensuring that all training is captured accordingly and shared with HR.

To operate processes in accordance with procedure to meet productivity requirements, ensuring product is manufactured to relevant quality standards. Able to multi-task effectively and prioritise workflow appropriately.

Effectively communicate with fellow Operators, Supervisors and Managers. Highlight any risk relating to product quality, production targets.

Conduct first line maintenance activities, complete associated documentation and report any concerns to the manufacturing engineer or night shift supervisor as appropriate.

Adopt a flexible working attitude and be willing to learn new skills to provide support across all departments.

Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste. Support root cause investigations to help improve process reliability.
