We provide design, tooling and plastic injection moulding services to blue chip B2B clients in the hi-tech sector. Small but successful and with big ambitions, we're looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our rotating Day Shift to help deliver future growth.

About the Role.

Reporting to a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for undertaking injection moulding operations work including: Material preparation, operating plastic injection moulding machines, inspection and sorting components, packaging Undertaking assembly and final quality inspection of parts; trimming, drilling, inserting using assembly jigs/fixtures Undertaking re-grind work, ensuring sprues and materials are reground and bagged correctly Carrying out machine safety checks, keeping machines operational and keeping the production facility tidy

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Who we are looking for.

The successful candidate will: Have the ability to learn quickly, to absorb new skills and to operate as part of a team on a rotating Day Shift (Mon - Fri 0545 - 1400 then Mon - Fri 1345 - 2200) Have a good eye for detail, able to perform repetitive tasks to a high standard with the ability to see when something is different Be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of working in a manufacturing environment, adhering to health and safety standards Possess good numeracy, English language and writing skills Be a team player, sharing the company's values, being friendly, fun, hard-working and honest
