Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Operators for various contracts across the East Kilbride area. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in the assembly and production processes, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Duties

Assemble components and products according to specifications and quality standards. Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently when required. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly or production roles preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is a plus. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and a flexible attitude to shift patterns is desirable.
