Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by managing schedules. This position requires a strong understanding of food manufacturing operations to enhance productivity and meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

Monitor production progress and revise schedules to accommodate changes in demand, supply delays or equipment downtime. Coordinate with various departments, including manufacturing and procurement to ensure timely availability of ingredients. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or resource availability. Collaborate with Production Managers to optimise and improve weekly schedule to support customer requirements . Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the production cycle. Ensure high customer service levels are maintained. Ensure stock list is up to date.

Skills

Strong background in production planning and food manufacturing environments. Proficiency in SAP is desirable. Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling. Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills Good excell skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling and prioritising Ability to manage deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaboration across various teams within the organization.
