We are seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join our small chemical adhesives and coatings business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes by planning production schedules, managing stock levels and optimising workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop production schedules and produce manufacturing instructions.
Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock levels to meet customer demands.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall productivity and reduce waste.
Skills
Experience of production planning in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
Experience in quality control methodologies and their application in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in assembling production schedules that align with business objectives.
Knowledge of business processes related to manufacturing operations.
