We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of production activities to meet customer demands and optimise resource utilisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
Coordinate with various departments to gather information and update production plans.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production.
Identify and resolve any issues that may impact production schedules.
Communicate with suppliers and customers to manage expectations and timelines.
Analyse production data and generate reports for management review.
Continuously improve planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Skills
Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role within the manufacturing industry, preferably electronic manufacturing.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Epicor and Orchestra would be a bonus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
