Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes, ensuring efficient scheduling, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of production management principles, as well as experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization. Collaborate with various departments including operations, supply chain, and productiont to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products. Analyze supply chain analytics to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste through lean production practices. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate materials are available for production. Prepare reports on production performance metrics and present findings to management for strategic decision-making. Assist with processing of inbound spare parts.

Experience

Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing/production environment is essential. Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain management tools is highly desirable. Strong understanding of lean production principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Knowledge of operations management. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to supply chain performance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
