Job Description

SPX Cooling Technologies is hiring a Production Planner to join our Worcester-based team. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll play a key part in keeping our manufacturing operations running efficiently and on schedule.

About the Role

Working closely with our Operations, Sales, and Aftermarket teams, you will be responsible for production planning and scheduling using our MRP system SAP. You'll liaise with subcontractors and internal departments to ensure timely release and tracking of manufacturing orders, coordinate shipping and logistics, and maintain accurate production data and documentation.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage production schedules and open work orders via MRP systems Liaise with sales, operations, and subcontractors to track progress and ensure on-time delivery Coordinate packing, crating, and transport for shipments, including export documentation and Letters of Credit Monitor and maintain routing data, lead times, and BOMs Support Engineering Change Orders and ensure proper documentation and system updates Participate in regular production meetings and collaborate across departments Assist in planning for spares and aftermarket requirements

What We're Looking For

Experience in production planning and scheduling. Working knowledge of MRP systems; SAP experience preferred Familiarity with BOMs, drawings, and manufacturing processes Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail Able to work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and logistics teams Experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of MS Projects is beneficial Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team environment
