We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planning Controller to join our Modular Solutions Division, based at our site in Sherburn, Malton.



The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 08:30-17:15 and Friday 08:30 - 15:00.



Severfield Modular Solutions offers a market-leading suite of products, including an expanding range of modular products to cater to diverse needs, including 'Severstor' units (robust, steel-framed modules that house critical systems equipment such as electrical switchgear) and 'Rotoflo' technology (a well-established high-efficient and controlled discharge system representing a major advance in materials handling technology).



From its facility in Sherburn, it also provides a one-stop shop for steel products and processing service using our extensive range of equipment and allows us to address smaller scale projects. They continue to set the

in their niche market!

Vacancy Details



In the Production Planning Controller position your role is to plan the production of steel throughout the factory, to ensure maximum performance with minimum delays. You will liaise with the Production Planning Manager and project teams to ascertain how the steel should be erected and using Tekla divide work into packages for production.



You will allocate steel using StruMis, matching purchased steel with what is required and be responsible for stock control. You will manage multiple different projects so the ability to multitask is key for this role.




Key Skills & experience



To be successful in this role previous experience in a production planning position is essential, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industries. You will need knowledge of all material for packages of work, and a knowledge and understanding of levels of complexity of work, and ability to plan production to cope with this and maximise efficiency. A strong educational background is needed.
