Production Planning Manager

36K per annum

EGL Homecare are a family-owned business founded in 1979 that has grown steadily to become one of the European Market Leaders in the categories of Scourers, Cleaning Cloths and Sponges. Our customers consist of Major Supermarkets, including Sainsburys, and leading retailers such as Amazon, Aldi, M&S, to name but a few, and we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Planning Manager to work within our Planning Department.

The main purpose of this role is the generation of all production schedules in order to meet customer demand.

Duties for the Planning Manager position include:

- Generating daily packing schedule using the following criteria:

MRP Report

Staff Availability

Machine Capacities

Customer Stock Spreadsheets

Customer EPOS Data

Customer Forecasts

Promotional activities

Planned maintenance

- Generate a Daily Packing Schedule

- Conduct daily meetings with department manager

- Work out any required contingency plans

- Liaise with Sales department

- Review promotional requests v capacity

- Run daily reports

- Maintain spreadsheets daily

- Organize and manage staff

- Managing a small team

Skills and Experience required for the Planner Manager position:

- Previous experience within a similar manufacturing role

- Highly organized with excellent communications skills

- Proactive problem solver

- Intermediate Excel skills

- People management skills

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
