Job Description

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team based within the Planning department at Portable Foods Manufacturing Company Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kellanova (previously Kellogg Company). The site in Wrexham, North Wales, produces well known and loved cereal bars and fruit snacks and we are committed to sustaining a culture of extensive training, support and development for our flexible multi-skilled teams.

The role's primary responsibility is to ensure the supply of all finished products and the timely changeover of promotions to meet market requirements. You will also support the Planning Lead in preparing the longer-term production plans.

The ideal candidate will:

Previously have worked in a scheduling/planning role SAP and MRP experience Effectively plan and organize tasks, ensuring timely completion and optimal resource utilization Remain calm and methodical whilst reacting promptly to unforeseen events Respond to challenges and develop creative solutions to deliver results Analyse complex numerical data with precision, ensuring accuracy and meticulous attention to detail Skilled in delivering clear and engaging presentations, with a strong ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences

Key responsibilities:

To determine the most efficient operational plan, whilst controlling and addressing variation to the short-term production schedules on a daily basis. Management of on-pack Promotional Planning, with responsibility for ordering of all promotional packaging along with liaising with Supply Planning to ensure promotions are delivered on time with minimal packaging write-offs. Ordering of printed packaging materials, at best costs to business. Maintain current reconciled supply plan, in SAP APO (including master data), SE planning module and on agreed planning spreadsheets. Ensuring timely set up, release and closing of orders. Detailed planning and successful introduction of NPD. To maintain and build upon important working relationships with senior Operational Management, European Supply Chain functions, Purchasing, Distribution and several outside suppliers. Ensure all safety and quality procedures are known and adhered to. Daily calls with supply planning, projects and suppliers. Attending regular onsite daily target setting meeting Issuing weekly Gantt chart and presenting in weekly operations meeting Managing supplier consignment stock levels
