We have served the global diagnostics industry for over 50 years and due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Production Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.

Role Overview:

The Production Scientist is responsible for supporting the manufacture of products. This role involves the manufacture, batch record completion, equipment maintenance, adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure efficient production processes. This position involves working in both laboratory and production settings.

Role Requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Manufacturing and Production: Carry out manufacturing tasks according to the production schedule and in compliance with Manufacturing Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures . Operate relevant production equipment for use in the manufacture of product Ensure completion of in-process testing and quality checks for manufactured products. Maintain accurate, up-to-date batch records and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Clean and maintain production and laboratory equipment and areas according to procedures. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, verification and validation checks on equipment. Ensure that all equipment is within calibration and ready for use. Comply with all quality system requirements, including ISO13485 standards. Support the investigation of non-conformances, out-of-specification results, and deviations. Support implementation of corrective actions and preventative measures (CAPAs) as necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment. Maintain individual training records and ensure training compliance. Identify continuous improvement opportunities within production and support implementation. Draft and update standard operating procedures including; production procedures and equipment protocols as required Complete change requests for relevant documentation as necessary. Support and implement 5S activities to optimize workflow.
