Job Description

We're looking for a

Production Shift Leader

to join our team in Haydock. You'll lead and motivate a shift team, ensuring production runs smoothly while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

What you'll do:

Lead and support the team to achieve daily targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People). Run start-of-shift meetings and ensure clear communication across shifts. Monitor production flow, resolve or escalate issues quickly. Support training and development of operators. Maintain accurate production reports and SAP entries. Uphold 6S standards and complete stock/material checks.

What we're looking for:

Experience as a team leader (or acting team leader) in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks. Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus). Flexible to work overtime when required. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives (desirable). Health & Safety awareness essential; formal qualification desirable. First aid training (desirable).

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 until 14:30
Friday: 06:00 until 11:00

Pay: 14.32 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
