Shift Production Manager 4 on, 4 off (Food Manufacturing)
\xc2\xa330,770 plus benefits (rise potential to \xc2\xa336,000 following probation)

A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Shift Production Manager to join their team on a 4 on, 4 off 6am-6pm basis.

Shift Production Manager responsibilities include:

Supervise and lead a team of people ensuring they attain the daily production plan in line with OEE and SKU Min targets.

Ensure production KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met on a daily basis and customer orders are completed in full.

Ensure team have the skills and knowledge to undertake their role in line with Health & Safety and Food Safety policy and procedures.

Ensure labour and raw material is in line with budget.

Ensure pipeline of talent into key skilled roles.

Management of non-conforming product, escalating as necessary.

Analyse daily, weekly and monthly performance and identify areas for team improvement.

Work with CI team to identify departmental opportunities for improvement. Participate in business wide CI initiatives.

Work with colleagues in other teams e.g. Engineering, Technical, HR, Finance etc to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Ensure all team management activities are completed in a timely manner e.g. 1:1\xe2\x80\x99s, team briefings, Time & Attendance, managing holiday approval, recording of sickness absence, return to work Interviews, minor disciplinary infringements etc.

Ensuring the department and team are Audit Ready at all times.

Record, control and minimise all forms of waste inc utilities

You will be a Shift Production Manager used to leading a team of 25+ within a Food manufacturing environment. You will have experience of lean manufacturing / CI initiatives
