A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer in Oldham is seeking a Production Shift Manager to join their team and work on their Monday to Friday early shift, 6am-2pm shift. Full on-boarding, training and career progression opportunities.

Days, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
Annual leave: 25 days + BH\'s

In this role, you will be responsible for an area of production and will be required to work as part of a team to maximise the quality, service and efficiency at all times.

Summary of responsibilities:

• Manage the financial KPI\xe2\x80\x99s of the production area to an agreed standard
• Ensure that production targets are met within agreed deadlines, making best use of resources and materials
• Provide leadership and support to the Line Leaders and manage and facilitate staff performance and development
• Promote \xe2\x80\x98Best in Class\xe2\x80\x99 standards for Health & Safety, ensuring the company\xe2\x80\x99s Health & Safety systems and policies are strictly adhered too.
• Effectively communicate at all levels on matters regarding quality, service, and people issues
• Ensure that customers (internal and external) receive a high standard of service and the area is presented at all times at peak standard with auditors and customers
• Develop staff training and liaise with the Production Managers
• Drive improvements in GMP/Hygiene
• Participate and support cross-functional team working
• Support the Production and Factory Manager as required

Required skills and experience:
We\'re seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience of planning and organising projects, tasks, labour and resources. Excellent communication and listening skills and computer literacy. Able to use initiative to achieve goals and targets.
