THG LABS offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We now have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge, Frome, and Radstock, including a state-of-the-art laboratory and a 98,000-square-foot, ever-developing manufacturing site.

We are now searching for a positive and pro-active Production Shift Supervisor to join our fast-paced production team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 5.15 a.m.-2.15 p.m. & 1.15 p.m.-10.15 p.m.

Salary:

42,377 per year

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will oversee the day-to-day running of our Filling Hall operations, leading Team Leaders, SFO's and Filling Operators to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely.

Mange and allocate staff across Filling Halls, ensuring optimal crew placement. Support weekly production planning and attend daily planning meetings. Monitor production data including outputs, downtime and changeovers. Ensure efficient line changeovers through strong communication. Handle shift records, payroll updates, and staff absences in coordination with HR. Conduct return-to-work interviews and manage absence reporting. Identify and implement training needs for team development. Uphold high standards of GMP, hygiene, quality and health & safety. Maintain accurate paperwork and resolve production non-conformances. Support SOP's, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Ability to lead and organise large numbers of staff daily. Display very good organisational skills, decision-making skills and problem solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to set goals and targets for yourself and others and ensure smooth running of Filling Hall to achieve those targets. Ability to mentor others. Follow all GMP requirements
