We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for quality control. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, optimise production processes, and ensure safety standards are maintained at all times.
Duties
Perform mixing and set up the production run in Unit 2
Monitor and oversee said production runs
Ensure machinery is maintained with Head Engineer
Evaluate production efficiency
Train new employees on basic knowledge of items and production as well as safe operating procedures
Determine the quality of goods before completing works order
Check paperwork for any errors
Ensure that health and safety laws are followed
Flag any mechanical issues and report these to the engineering lead as soon as possible
Monitor production to resolve issues
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
Review the number of raw materials picked for work orders
Ensure output meets quality standards
Report to operations manager

Hold weekly safety briefs with staff
Be "hands on" in meeting production targets.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate, and report defects as they arise.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Numerically proficient
Self starter essential
working dynamic knowledge of computer systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing settings
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
