Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a background in assembly and warehouse environments. This role is essential in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise daily production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and productivity. Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular inspections to ensure proper operation. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks, ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and team performance. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead a team effectively, fostering a positive work environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and management. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
