About the Role


The Production Supervisor is responsible for handling day-to-day production-related administrative tasks for our Production Workshop in Syston, Leicestershire working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week), as well as being able to develop and implement processes to support the Production Management team in reaching the production objectives of our luxury accessories.

Role & Responsibilities:



Supervise the production teams in their day-to-day production capacities. Work in collaboration with Customer Services, Sales and E-commerce teams to ensure customer needs are met. Create a bill of materials (BOM), a comprehensive list of parts, items, assemblies, subassemblies, intermediate assemblies, documents, and other materials required to create a product. Produce regular works orders containing the bill of materials (BOM), items, quantity, colour, special instructions such as engraving or initialling, date order received, target date for factory and completion date for customer. Be responsible for stock in the workshop. Fulfil stock allocations and transfers with the support of the Finance team. Maintain accurate information in the ERP/MRP system (Odoo). Liaise with suppliers and raise purchase orders in Odoo, maintaining a good working relationship with all suppliers. Hold regular stocktakes of production materials, fittings, and some finished stock. Provide weekly updates on stock in the warehouse, WIP, and third-party manufacturers to the Finance team. Liaise with Finance and Production Management teams to ensure stock levels are up to date and meet production requirements. Quality check all finished goods created at Syston. Support the production team to ensure a smooth product flow to fulfil customer orders. Support the Production Management team to maintain a realistic production plan to meet business needs, identifying capacity and product availability challenges and proposing corrective actions. Any other tasks and improvement projects as allocated by the Production Management team.

Skills:



Strong administrative skills and attention to detail Collaborative approach with internal stakeholders Proficient experience with ERP systems or similar Competent use of IT, including advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to be proactive, multitask, prioritise, and co-ordinate own work Strong time management and project management skills Innovative and proactive; able to think independently and work with minimal supervision

Salary:

35,000-37,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
