Job Summary

Autopak are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role within the factory. Working with the engineering team to build and test our equipment is needed along with workflow/project management. An engineering background is necessary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing workflow efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience in a factory or warehouse environment to maintain high-quality standards and meet production goals.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly lines and manufacturing processes to ensure smooth operation.

Lead by example

Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment, including forklifts, to facilitate production tasks.

Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, assembly procedures, and safety practices.

Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, inventory, and safety compliance.

ExperienceProven experience in manufacturing or factory management, preferably within a manufacturing facility.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.

Prior experience with assembly processes and familiarity with manufacturing best practices.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing operations and equipment handling.
