Production Supervisor
to lead our production team and help drive operational excellence.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who
leads from the front
, sets high standards, and motivates a small team to consistently deliver safe, high-quality products while improving GMP, housekeeping, efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
You will work closely with Operations and Technical teams to ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and in line with BRC, food safety, and quality standards.
The role operates on
10-hour shifts, 4 days a week, every second week

Key Responsibilities
Leading, supervising, and motivating a small production team to achieve daily production targets safely and efficiently
Role-modelling excellent
GMP, hygiene, housekeeping, PPE, and food safety behaviours
at all times
Driving a strong
"Clean as You Go" and 5S culture
across production and ancillary areas
Monitoring production performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing actions to improve
yield, waste reduction, and line efficiency
Ensuring all quality checks are completed accurately (weights, seals, codes, packaging integrity) and standards are consistently met
Identifying, escalating, and managing food safety, quality, and health & safety issues in line with company procedures
Supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring records, checks, and controls are completed correctly and on time
Supporting audits (BRC, customer, internal) and leading corrective and preventative actions where required
Conducting basic fault-finding on equipment, escalating engineering issues when necessary
Ensuring equipment cleaning, validation, and hygiene standards are maintained
Leading short interval control reviews and daily communications to drive accountability and improvement
Coaching, training, and developing team members to improve skills, engagement, and performance
Bringing energy, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset to the role
What You'll Need to Succeed
Previous supervisory or team leader experience within a food manufacturing environment (essential)
Strong understanding of
food safety, GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards
Proven ability to lead by example and positively influence team behaviour and standards
Experience driving improvements in
housekeeping, efficiency, waste reduction, and yield
Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance
A proactive, problem-solving approach with the confidence to challenge poor practices constructively
Reliability, flexibility, and a hands-on attitude
Pay & Benefits
15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
