ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Production Support Operative, youll be working as part of an integrated team, to support, coach and communicate SAP and other McCain systems to ensure best practice and standardisation is achieved across all shifts. The job also includesxe2x80xa6

• Working to the Companys hygiene, quality, and safety standards
• Daily monitoring of SAP, including POs, stock, rework, sanitation, and labour
• Issuing oil and potatoes, and closing POs
• Generating the cost statement and reporting back losses/gains to the SLT
• Building relationships between departments
• Training out best practice across shift
• Assist with the generation of weekly/monthly business reports

Youll have previous experience of working within a factory environment, as well as experience of basic food hygiene knowledge. Were also looking for people with experience ofxe2x80xa6

• Being part of a team and working with people
• Health and Safety requirements within FMCG

• Good Literacy and numeracy skills
• Self-motivation and team organisation

• Computer literacy

Youll be based at our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties, but its definitely not stuck in the past. Its one of the largest French fry factories in the world and after a recent development, its also one of the most high tech. Our team of over 300 colleagues work hard to make sure the quality of our products keep our customers returning for more, for now and years to come!
We also know youll want to know what youll be working. Our shifts are typically 12-hours, working 2 days on (7am-7pm), 1 day off, 2 nights on (7pm-7am), 3 days off.
