Personnel Selection are pleased to be working with this fantastic local business, who are currently recruiting for a Kitting Support Operative on a full time and permanent basis.

Hours of work are (Monday-Thursday 1pm-11pm) however, you will need to do training on the day shift initially.

Travel between two sites in Andover is involved, so you ideally will need to be able to drive.

Salary breakdown:

Starting salary - 25,065.00 (Level 1 - whilst training on the day shift for x3 months)

Salary once trained & moved to Twilight shift- 29,291.00 (Level 2 + twilight shift allowance)

Purpose of the role:

As SMT kitting support Operator, you will assist SMT set-up operatives in the preparation of SMT kits for SMT production lines and will support stores department with any basic activities.

You will be responsible for the de-kitting process, count back and materials relocation to stores.

Your primary role will be preparing the bare materials, like PCB baking and labelling, for the SMT kits.

Experience required:

A minimum education to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths. Excellent attention to detail. Computer Literate: Office package: Word, Excel, Outlook Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing / electronics environment is desirable Experience using fine tools and microscopes would be advantageous Form of electronics qualification, desirable but not a requirement
