The Opportunity: Production Support Technician

The Production Support Technician position will be part of our tight-knit Production Team, reporting to the Production Manager.
This will be a supportive role for the Production Manager, and the wider production team. This role will aid the organisation with its key objective to provide robust & high-quality products, whilst helping deliver its growing order book.

Requirements: from

Read and Interpret production orders, work instructions and other written material. Kitting out and assembling parts for orders. Maintain stock levels of parts and assemblies. Operate Manual tools and simple machinery. Provide in house testing. Process paperwork for production. Use a variety of chemicals and methods, including bonding, encapsulation and moulding. Perform other support duties as required.

Skills (training in house as required)

Competent with basic hand tools. Basic soldering skills. Basic electronic assembly techniques. Basic computer skills.

Personal Requirements:

Be responsible and conscientious. Strong attention to detail and driven to achieve high standards. Good time management - able to prioritise, multitask and manage your own time effectively. Good communication skills with the ability to speak, read and write clearly and accurately in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn, enquire and gain knowledge and skills. Ability to prioritise, multitask and remain calm under pressure, and work to strict deadlines. Proactive approach to work, anticipating potential issues and dealing with them effectively.
