Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Team Leaders to join our dynamic team on differing shifts. The ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role would be helping to manage a team of people and directly report into the Production Shift Manager. The Team Leader effectively and efficiently manages the resources of their production area, to ensure best use of people, plant and materials to meet output and product quality targets.

The Production Lead will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

Have great focus on People, Product, Plan and Plant. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals. Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to within the production area. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in production processes. Maintain accurate records of production output and report any discrepancies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective teamwork.
