About the role:

Reporting to the Works Manager, you will lead your team through all aspects of site operational activities related to filling, blending, and food grade product filling, to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient running of site operations.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

Plan and organise the available resource to ensure all planned goods in and out is completed within promised timescales to achieve targeted OTIF customer deliveries.

Supervise the shift ensuring compliance from staff with company policies and procedures.

Take a leading position in site daily safety huddles to ensure full dissemination of local and group actions or information

Plan and ensure completion of staff training in line with role and company requirements, with the support of the works manager.

Perform site operator duties as a Yard Operator.

----------------------------------------------------

Support site operators and Operations Manager with regular site safety checks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actively engage in and instigate site efficiency and improvement projects.

Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.

Due to the operational requirements of the site - role may feature elements of on call and emergency callout response.

Experience / Knowledge:

---------------------------

Chemical industry background on a COMAH facility- Preferred.

Experience in working in a Safety Driven environment - Essential.

FLT Licence
