Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To-Date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand out Machining capabilities over the coming year.
The Position
Progress manufacturing in line with production schedule.
Report production KPIs daily and weekly to the leadership team, identifying where support is needed.
Ensure all production documentation adheres to the relevant quality standard.
Managing and motivating production teams to meet production goals.
Provide support to the Production Lead.
Identify & advise your line manager of personal training requirements to ensure and enhance achievement of job role.
Identifying production issues and implementing corrective actions.
Support and train new starters.
Provide guidance to apprentices.
Conduct returns to work and appraisals with team members
Approval of Holidays and employee time sheets
Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies
, procedures, and legal obligations, including those relevant to CNC machining and high-reliability manufacturing.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
, reporting any hazards, incidents, near-misses, or unsafe behaviours promptly and accurately.
Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
appropriately, ensuring correct use in line with task and risk requirements.
Participate in mandatory EHS training

Highly motivated individual.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to work Shift patterns (12 hours)
Apprenticed trained or time served experience. (If applicable)
Educated to a Grade C or above in English and Mathematics at GCSE Level or equivalent.
Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
IOSH Managing Safely
Minimum of a level 2 Leadership Qualification
Experience Siemens or FANUC controls or similar.
Milling & Turning experience.
Experience managing a team
