Summary:

The Production technician's role is the assembly, test and inspection of complex electro-mechanical display-based products. Working to build instructions, works orders and drawings, the technician is responsible for complete assembly and test of product on time and to required quality, safety and technical standards.

In this role the technician will be given responsibility for a specific product and will take responsibility for this product ensuring quality, build and cost requirements are met continuously, acting as champion for this product, they will work with engineering to improve product and methods and become the designated trainer for this product for others

Key responsibilities

:

Production

Assembly and test of complex electro-mechanical products to QMS standards

Assembly and test of cables to QMS standards

Achieve build times and support customer delivery commitments

Perform and document testing in line with QMS system

Take ownership for and become product champion for agreed products

Support creation of manufacturing documents and training

Carry out all training required

Continually seek to improve company procedures, standards and policies

Follow all quality, environmental and H&S processes

Prior production experience working in the electro-mechanical industry is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 30,000.00 per year
