We're looking for a reliable and motivated Production Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves operating machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in feed, food or agricultural production, a working knowledge of bagging and packaging equipment, and an understanding of feed safety standards and recognised industry accreditations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor feed production machinery and bagging lines.

Assist with the mixing, processing, and packaging of animal feed products.

Maintain strict feed safety standards, ensuring all products meet required quality and safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with recognised industry accreditations, policies, and procedures.

Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.

Maintain accurate records of production data and materials used.

Ensure the working area is kept clean, safe, and compliant with company and health & safety standards.

Perform basic maintenance and report any equipment faults promptly.

Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production targets.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in animal feed production, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.

Knowledge or experience with bagging machinery (automatic or manual systems) is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of feed safety regulations and recognised industry accreditations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Basic mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
