As a Production Technician, you'll play a key role in our end-to-end manufacturing process -- from component moulding to electrical assembly, testing, and packing. You'll operate and maintain injection moulding equipment, support production targets, and ensure every product meets our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up injection moulding machines safely and efficiently
Perform tool changes and machine start-up/shutdown following SOPs
Conduct quality checks and resolve common moulding issues (e.g. flashing, short shots)
Assemble and solder electrical components to IPC standards
Build and test sub-assemblies and cable assemblies
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
Log production data accurately using SAP
Support continuous improvement using Lean tools (5S, SMED, 5 Whys)
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times
Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience in a production or assembly environment (3+ years preferred)
Practical skills with tools, crimping, soldering, and fault-finding
Soldering to IPC standard
Knowledge of injection moulding processes (advantageous but not essential)
Ability to read and understand technical documentation
Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards beneficial
Computer literate (Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus)
Qualifications
Electrical Engineering qualification preferred
Additional training in Health & Safety, First Aid, or Manual Handling an advantage
Certified soldering to IPC standard.
