Job Summary

.We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience. This role involves operating injection moulding machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment to meet production standards.

Duties

As Injection Moulding Technician you will perform tool changes to conform with safe working practices and procedures. Take full control of operating the injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment. Perform quality control tasks according to cycle of control to ensure products conform to customer specifications taking full responsibility for accurate and timely checks. Be able to perform competent and comprehensive preventative and technical maintenance of production lines including cleaning and lubrication of equipment and systems. Breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance of Injection moulding machines. Installation of new equipment/machinery and modification of existing equipment Operation and maintenance of material conveyance Silos & chiller systems Undertaking troubleshooting and problem solving to tightly controlled and monitored standards with the ability to accurately document changes whilst adhering to quality standards. Continuous improvement (Kaizen System) - Design, Develop and implementation of ideas To Conduct stock takes as required by the business. Changeover of Tools and trailing any new jobs. Optimizing efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner. Montor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and to work to a TPM guidelines. Liaising with the Planner in regard to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repairs. To also update the Planner on a daily basis adherence to schedule. To Focus on cycle time reduction and tool changeover times in line with our KPI's
