We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. You'll support the workshop team by preparing materials, processing and making orders, keeping the workshop and its equipment clean and maintained, and helping with production tasks. You'll also assist with Health & Safety tasks, making sure routines and checks are followed. This role is hands-on and varied - you'll switch between artwork prep, stock handling, machine setup, and finishing jobs to keep orders moving smoothly and on time.

Your responsibilities
Plan and prioritise daily and weekly work:
support the Production Coordinator in prioritising and completing daily tasks using our project management tools.
Get orders ready for production:
upload to BMS (Business management system), and prepare artwork using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Make the orders:
carry out manufacturing tasks using workshop equipment as needed, depending on the product. We work with lasers, printers, CNC machines and more.
Stock control:
carry out planned stock checks, keep counts accurate, raise purchase requests, and make sure goods?in is logged.
Equipment and workshop maintenance:
help with planned maintenance tasks, keep tools and machines clean, and update service records or logs as needed. Follow and update schedules in Asana or Google Calendar to stay on track.
Material and stock prep:
prepare stock and check materials in line with the production schedule.
Health and Safety:
support Health & Safety tasks by helping with scheduled tasks, logging checks, and following compliance routines.
Product and process improvement:
support improvements across the product production cycle, facilitate and test new ways of working.
Work flexibly across different workshop areas depending on priorities.
Skills & experience
Interest in hands-on making, workshop processes or light manufacturing. Good attention to detail and willingness to follow clear processes.
Comfortable learning software and systems such as our BMS, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (training provided).
Willing to learn or have knowledge or running lasers, printers and a CNC machine.
Practical, organised and tidy in approach. Candidates should demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance.
