Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based speciality products - engineered components and subsystems - for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.

We\'re looking to recruit new team members within our Production team in fixed term PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN roles. Your role is to work as part of our highly skilled, friendly and customer focussed Production team to assemble, inspect and test our filters which protect and connect people around the world.

Working either an early or later shift you\'ll have your own individual work space, where using a variety of tools (tweezers, cutters, scalpels, microscopes, screwdrivers and digital equipment) you\'ll assemble precision parts to build filters.

You\'ll use drawings and follow work instructions, to work confidently to complete assigned tasks within required timeframes, highlighting and resolving problems and producing a high quality finished product.

To be successful, you are or ideally have the following skills:

• Confident and organised and wanting to learn our processes, how they work and what you\'ll need to do to achieve the right standard.
• Patient and methodical in putting things together and when necessary, tinkering/adjusting them to get the right result.
• Someone who enjoys problem solving, finding faults and suggesting solutions.
• Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment, meaning you can work to exacting standards and design.
• Have a high attention to detail, combined with a passion for tidiness in your work area!
• Enjoy making positive teamwork contributions to our highly motivated Production teams, delivering continuous improvement and meeting targets.

Previous experience in these responsibilities would be advantageous, but we are also interested in people who are keen to learn and want to contribute to a growing company, as full training will be provided.

This is a shift based role
