Role Overview

Join ETL Systems' Surface Mount Technology Department and be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in RF equipment for global satellite communications. As a Production Technologist, you'll oversee SMT processes, ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency in electronic assemblies. Working pattern:

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm

Hours:

37.5 per week

Overtime:

During peak times, overtime is available for those seeking extra hours. Overtime pay is compensated at one and a half times the regular rate.

This position is located at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Key Accountabilities

Oversee the setup and operation of SMT equipment, including our AOI machines. Develop and optimise SMT processes to improve efficiency and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SMT equipment and processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Train and mentor production staff on SMT processes and AOI equipment. Prepare and maintain documentation for SMT processes and AOI equipment. Monitor and control inventory levels of SMT materials and components. Support quality assurance in the inspection and testing of SMT assemblies. Ensure a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
