About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
MIG Production Welder
to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welds, working from technical drawings, and supporting the smooth running of our production process. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive, positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on components in line with work instructions and quality standards
Read, understand and work confidently from technical and engineering drawings
Carry out basic fabrication tasks, including cutting, drilling, and preparing materials
Maintain a safe, tidy and compliant working environment at all times
Follow established processes and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
Previous experience in MIG welding (essential)
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, conscientious, and able to follow work instructions
Positive attitude with a team-focused and safety-conscious approach

Qualifications & Desirable Skills
City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Welding, Fabrication or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Basic health and safety training (manual handling, risk awareness) - desirable
