Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our small but hardworking and friendly team in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a commitment to quality and safety, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The role involves manufacturing wire rope slings so some heavy lifting is involved. The ideal candidate must hold a full clean driving license and be prepared to drive anywhere in the country including central London at short notice. A counterbalance fork lift license is also required.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and equipment involved in the production of wire rope assemblies, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Manufacture assemblies with minimum errors ensuring correct lengths, labelling, specifications and quantities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform basic mathematical calculations for product measurements. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Driving duties including last minute deliveries to customers anywhere in the UK and collections from Suppliers.

Qualifications

Previous experience is not essential. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively. Proficient in basic maths skills for accurate measurements and inventory control. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
