Sundown Products is a family-owned company manufacturing animal feed and bedding from straw.
The factory operates on a 24hr/ 5 Panama shift system now but will change to a 24/7 Panama shift pattern from middle of July.
Each shift consists of two multi- skilled operators and a multi-skilled shift manager per shift.
The advertised position is for a Production Operator and the working hours are:
Monday to Friday: 07:00am - 15:00pm
Until 15.07.2025
Pay: 15.06 / hour
From 15.07.2025
12h shifts based on a Panama 24/7 schedule.
Pay: 16.01 / hour
The candidate
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, needing minimal supervision, tidy, organised and can manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Required
Telehandler Licence/ experience
Desirable
FLT licence
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
A good level of physical fitness (due to handling products up to 20KG
Duties to include:
Loading/unloading of vehicles using the Telehandler
General yard duties
Machine operating
Housekeeping
Other general related Production tasks
This position will suit someone who is reliable and keen to learn and grow within the business.
