Job Overview:

A varied role which will be an integral part of the factory within Bella + Duke. You will be joining a close-knit team at the heart of a fast moving, high growth company. The successful applicant will produce manufactured products in a chilled environment. The role combines production line duties with end of shift hygiene and sanitation tasks as part of the hygiene team focusing on maintaining rigorous hygiene standards within a production environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and strict H&S adherence.

Tasks and Accountabilities:

Operate production machinery in accordance with training and established safety procedures. Safely handle raw materials and finished products within chilled and frozen storage environments. Promptly report any equipment faults or safety concerns to the relevant supervisors. Conduct routine quality checks on finished products, packaging, and labelling. Strictly adhere to food safety legislation, including HACCP and COSHH, Health and Safety policies and all company policies. Implement and follow site procedures for allergen and cross-contamination control. Maintain high hygiene standards across all production areas throughout and following the shift. Execute end-of-shift cleaning protocols, which involve dismantling equipment, washing down, and sanitising surfaces. Rebuild production lines as per the daily production plan.

Desired Experience:

Experience in food manufacturing (preferred but not essential) Understanding of hygiene or sanitation processes in a food factory setting Ability to work in chilled/frozen temperatures for extended periods Basic English literacy and numeracy for documentation and safety instructions Good attention to detail for quality and hygiene compliance Ability to follow procedures consistently and work independently

Working Environment:

Chilled/frozen environment (typically 0C to -18C depending on area) Use of PPE including thermal wear, gloves, hairnets, and safety boots Standing for periods and performing repetitive tasks

Working Pattern:

Backshift - 40hrs per week Monday - Friday 2-10pm
