About Us

Benham Precision Engineering is an AS9100?accredited aerospace and defence manufacturer, producing high?precision components across two modern sites. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our production team and seeking motivated individuals with a strong mechanical mindset who want to build a career in engineering.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical background or a genuine interest in engineering to join a high?performance precision manufacturing environment. No previous machining experience is required -- full training will be provided.

You will support the running of proven machining processes, maintain high standards of quality, and play an active role in keeping the production area organised and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor proven production processes across various machine tools Support and maintain autonomous machining processes Self?inspect your own work using basic measurement tools (full training provided) Deburr components to required standards (full training provided) Carry out batch inspections as part of the production routine Maintain 5S and excellent workplace organisation

About You

This role is well?suited to someone who:

Has a mechanical or hands?on technical background (e.g., automotive, workshop, fabrication, assembly) Takes pride in producing accurate, high?quality work Is keen to learn and develop engineering skills Enjoys practical, hands?on work Works well as part of a team and follows established processes Has good attention to detail and a positive attitude
