We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Professor in the field of Gerontology and Geroscience. The postholder will demonstrate a sustained track record of excellence in the design and delivery of ground-breaking research that has the potential to transform our understanding of ageing and to extend cognitive and physical health span. Working with our cutting-edge translational scientists, the postholder will develop a vision for ageing research, seek substantial funding and build collaborations to accelerate and deepen our programmes of ageing research.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of the Faculty's research strategy, lead and coordinate research activity in the field of Translational Geroscience, and draw together outstanding research already established in Exeter to consolidate this strategic priority area, and amplify our profile.
