Job Description

The Programme Manager for the Film & TV Educators Network will be responsible for implementing and evaluating the

strategy for our national network of teachers.

The Film & TV Educators Network was incubated at the London Screen Academy, with the aim of connecting teachers

across the country. Over the past year the membership of the group has grown to over 700 educators across the UK.

We held a variety of in-person and online events, providing professional development, networking, and access to

industry.

With the current programme lead heading off on maternity leave, we are seeking a Programme Manager to maintain

this momentum and oversee the delivery of the Network's offer. We are ambitious about the future of the Network and

would seek to shape the role around the right candidate. As such, we would welcome applicants with a diverse range

of skills, from strategic thinking to online marketing.

Programme Manager for the Film & TV Educators Network



The role



As part of this role, you would be:



Acting as the face of the Film & TV Educators Network, and the first port of call for enquiries

Organising, publicising, and evaluating network events, including regional and online events events

Exploring collaboration opportunities with other educational institutions

Maintaining and developing contacts within the screen industries to provide professional development

opportunities for network members

Chairing the Film & TV Network Steering Group (within LSA), and setting up and chairing an external

Advisory Group

Develop and curating high-equality learning resources

Maintaining and growing the database of Film & TV Educators Network members

Issuing network communications including email newsletters and moderating the network Whatsapp group

Maintaining and growing the Network's presence on social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky)

Deliverables for the role will include

Growth of the Network's membership

Growth of the Network's social media following

Successful promotion, organisation and delivery of in-person and online events (c. 15 per year)

Publication of high-quality learning resources

Regular communication with members via our mailing list and social channels
