Job Summary



The primary focus of the role is program management of the wider design & construction & commercial functions as it relates to the approval of major expansion construction projects throughout the EMEA Region. An ability to communicate effectively, form partnerships and influence and drive stakeholders (both internal and external) is a requirement for this position

Responsibilities



Support the Global Design & Construction team to perform as an industry-leading function

Take the lead role in:

coordinating construction / design / commercial functions through pre-construction process, including providing governance around peer/onward reviews, culminating in business case approval working with Corporate Development and the local businesses to define business needs / strategy and manage project pipeline creating scalable processes for tracking progress towards on-time delivery of projects, particularly deliverables necessary for business case approval gateways scheduling out activities and project/deliverable tracking on a project by project basis culminating in a number of different deliverables including business cases organising communications with stakeholders (such as design / construction / commercial, external consulting & contracting partners, asset management, real estate, legal) by acting as reference point for team Work with Construction Manager, Design Manager, Commercial Manager to ensure alignment and to find creative ways to optimise the projects, and helping coach/train the teams for efficient approval process Support due diligence and site selection and acquisition efforts Support the preparation of key deliverables for presentation to senior management as part of business case approval Assist project schedule reviews with construction managers and senior management

Assist continuous improvement initiatives and develop best practices, including:

Lessons Learned - oversee the process of capturing and disseminating lessons learned KPI - oversee the management and reporting at a regional, and maybe global level Software - assist with the software selection and implementation for global process optimization Assist training and development of in-house teams on project management mechanisms and best practices Report status, successes, challenges and key activities to senior management

Qualifications



Bachelors degree in construction, engineering, business, financial or related field Extensive experience of real project delivery, preferably in data center development Experience in managing multiple projects and coordinate with internal staff and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholders Must be detail orientated, with accurate input and proof reading skills Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Must have strong business acumen and commercial outlook Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must have strong sense of accountability, ownership and urgency Must have strong IT skills, particularly with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook with some experience of Microsoft Project/Primavera, or equivalent, preferred Ability to travel within EMEA as needed

la coordination des fonctions de construction / conception / commercialisation tout au long du processus prealable a la construction, y compris la mise en place d'une gouvernance autour des evaluations par les pairs/en aval, aboutissant a l'approbation du dossier commercial la collaboration avec le service de developpement de l'entreprise et les entreprises locales pour definir les besoins/la strategie de l'entreprise et gerer le pipeline de projets la creation de processus evolutifs pour suivre l'avancement des projets en vue de leur livraison dans les delais, en particulier les livrables necessaires a l'approbation des analyses de rentabilite la planification des activites et suivi des projets/livrables projet par projet, aboutissant a un certain nombre de livrables differents, y compris des analyses de rentabilite l'organisation de la communication avec les parties prenantes (telles que les partenaires de conception/construction/commercialisation, les consultants externes et les sous-traitants, la gestion d'actifs, l'immobilier, le service juridique) en servant de point de reference pour l'equipe Collaborer avec le directeur de la construction, le directeur de la conception et le directeur commercial afin d'assurer la coherence et de trouver des moyens creatifs d'optimiser les projets, et aider a encadrer/former les equipes pour un processus d'approbation efficace Soutenir les efforts de diligence raisonnable, de selection et d'acquisition de sites Soutenir la preparation des principaux livrables a presenter a la direction dans le cadre de l'approbation du dossier commercial Aider a la revision du calendrier du projet avec les directeurs de la construction et la direction
Contribuer aux initiatives d'amelioration continue et developper les meilleures pratiques, notamment:


Lecons apprises - superviser le processus de collecte et de diffusion des lecons apprises KPI - superviser la gestion et le reporting au niveau regional, voire mondial Logiciels - aider a la selection et a la mise en oeuvre de logiciels pour l'optimisation des processus mondiaux Contribuer a la formation et au developpement des equipes internes sur les mecanismes de gestion de projet et les meilleures pratiques Rendre compte de l'etat d'avancement, des succes, des defis et des activites cles a la direction generale

Qualifications




Licence en construction, ingenierie, commerce, finance ou dans un domaine connexe Vaste experience dans la realisation de projets concrets (real project delivery), de preference dans le developpement de centres de donnees Experience dans la gestion de plusieurs projets et la coordination avec le personnel interne et les consultants externes, les fournisseurs et autres parties prenantes Doit etre minutieux, precis dans ses contributions et doue pour la relecture Doit etre capable de gerer plusieurs taches dans un environnement dynamique Doit avoir un sens aigu des affaires et une vision commerciale Doit avoir de solides competences en communication ecrite et orale Doit avoir un sens aigu des responsabilites, de l'appropriation et de l'urgence Doit avoir de solides competences en informatique, en particulier avec PowerPoint, Excel et Outlook, et de preference une certaine experience de Microsoft Project/Primavera ou equivalent Capacite a voyager dans la region EMEA si necessaire
