Role overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to support the development and delivery of our global design challenges. Working closely with the wider staff team, as well as UK and international partners, your work will help to inspire and upskill undergraduates around the world to become globally responsible engineers. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the digital systems and automations that underpin our programmes.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate delivery of the Engineering for People Design Challenge and shorter-form programmes across the UK, Ireland, USA, and globally.
Manage university and participant relationships, schedule workshops, and oversee submissions and feedback.
Maintain and improve internal tools, processes and automation workflows.
Deliver launch content, virtual and in-person sessions, and support major events like the annual Engineering for People Grand Finals.
Connect student teams with mentors, run online networking activities, and ensure a smooth participant experience.
Monitor enquiries on Zendesk and respond to those relating to programmes.
Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting across programmes.
Support broader team activities and organisational needs as required.

Proven ability to deliver programmes from start to finish with clarity and impact.
Experienced in automating workflows using digital tools, platforms and databases.

Experienced in coordinating people and managing multiple relationships.
Self-starter who meets deadlines and stays organised under shifting priorities.
Strong team player with a willingness to support routine tasks.
Excellent written communication skills.
