About the role

We are delivering a portfolio of significant transformation programmes - from our role as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade Enterprise, through to capital investment projects and business change programmes.



As

Programme Manager

, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of these programmes. Working closely with our Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and internal and external stakeholders, you'll:


Lead the development and maintenance of integrated delivery plans, mapping all interdependent projects and workstreams Provide clear oversight of programme progress, risks, issues and interdependencies to inform decision-making at senior levels Ensure governance structures are effective, reporting is accurate and "one version of the truth" is upheld across all programme documentation Support and guide project teams to apply consistent programme and project management methodologies Champion robust assurance, change control and milestone management processes to keep projects on track.

You'll be at the centre of the puzzle - piercing together complex change, ensuring we're aligned with our business plan deliverables and keeping our ambitious transformation programme moving forward.

About you

We're looking for someone with:


Excellent programme planning, process mapping and scheduling skills, ideally with experience using programme/scheduling software Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence reporting to senior governance bodies A collaborative approach to problem-solving and the ability to guide teams through complex deliver environments A commitment to living our values - Be Yourself, Pull Together, Raise the Bar and Make Someone's Day- inspiring those around you to go further and deliver excellence every time. Experience in rail, infrastructure, or property projects
