Programme Manager (product Delivery)

Job Description



We are currently seeking a Programme Manager to oversee the end-to-end product lifecycles, from initial concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with the organisational vision and strategy.




As a Programme Manager at Sage, you will work with global teams, establish a deep understanding of portfolio requirements, and drive operational excellence through the implementation of world-class processes. You will identify dependencies between programmes and workstreams, using best practice frameworks to deliver efficiencies.





Please note that this role is hybrid and requires working 3 days a week from our Newcastle office.


Key Responsibilities

- Manage one or more programmes comprising of multiple products and deliverables


- Collaborate with other Programme Managers to ensure alignment across all plans.


- Manage Project Managers, providing guidance, clarifying dependencies, removing blockers, and maintaining oversight across all project areas.


- Develop strong relationships to embed yourself in the product delivery process.


- Analyse project retrospectives and trends by engaging with different product workstreams.






Requirements


- Demonstrated experience with the Software Delivery Lifecycle and end-to-end product launch processes, including a technical understanding.


- Background working in Agile environments.


- Experience leading Project Managers and Product Managers.


- Ability to collaborate with global teams to develop accurate and realistic delivery schedules, including go-to-market launch dates.


- Experience working with accounting products is a plus.
