About the Role




As a

Programme Manager

at Wavenet, you will play a critical role in translating our strategic vision into action. You'll be responsible for

managing multiple high-level projects

, ensuring they are executed efficiently, delivered on time and within budget, and consistently aligned with the company's overarching objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement programme strategies and objectives in alignment with organisational priorities Oversee and coordinate

multiple complex projects

across departments, ensuring synergy and efficient resource allocation Create and manage comprehensive

programme budgets

, driving cost-effective outcomes Identify, assess, and mitigate programme-level risks and dependencies Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including

senior leadership, project teams, and external partners

Monitor programme progress and performance using key metrics, providing regular updates and insights to executive leadership

Lead, mentor, and inspire

project managers and team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards Champion change management initiatives that support seamless adoption of new systems, processes, and technologies Continuously evaluate and enhance programme delivery processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness


Qualifications

What We're Looking For




We're looking for a results-driven

Programme Manager

who brings a unique combination of strategic thinking, operational execution, and exceptional leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

Educational Background & Certification


A

bachelor's degree

in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is essential. A

PMP (Project Management Professional)

certification or equivalent is preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.

Proven Programme Management Experience


At least

5 years of experience

in programme management, with a successful track record of overseeing

multiple interdependent projects

. You'll be comfortable leading cross-functional teams and coordinating large-scale initiatives from inception to completion.

Methodologies & Tools


Deep understanding of

programme and project management methodologies

such as

MSP, Agile, and Prince2

. You should also have strong proficiency in

project management software

, budgeting tools, risk management systems, and the

Microsoft Office Suite

.

Strategic & Analytical Thinking


Demonstrated ability to

think strategically

, translate complex goals into actionable plans, and make

data-driven decisions

that drive programme success. Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

are key to managing complexity and ambiguity effectively.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management


Proven leadership and team management experience, with outstanding

communication and interpersonal skills

. You'll be adept at engaging and influencing

senior stakeholders

, managing expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment across departments and partners.

Change & Risk Management


Hands-on experience in

change management

, including driving organisational transformation and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems or processes. You should also have a thorough understanding of

risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies

.

Financial & Resource Management


Demonstrated ability to

develop, manage, and optimise complex programme budgets and resources

, ensuring cost-effective delivery and financial accountability throughout the programme lifecycle.

Time Management & Organisational Excellence


Superior

time management and organisational skills

, with the ability to

prioritise tasks

, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly in a

fast-paced, dynamic environment

without compromising quality.

Negotiation & Conflict Resolution


Strong

negotiation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution abilities
